DESCRIPTION
Our driver will meet you upon arrival at the airport or train station, take care of handling your luggage, and provide you with a tour of Rome before you head to the Civitavecchia cruise dock.
Alternatively we can pick you up from your accommodation if you are already in Rome. Typically this tour lasts 3-4 hours plus an additional hour for the transfer to the port. We can adjust the duration of the tour based on your preference and you also have the freedom to design your own itinerary. Depending on your interests, you may want to see Ancient or Baroque Rome, Christian Rome, the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel or take an afternoon for shopping, a relaxing lunch in an outdoor café and a pleasant walk in the downtown area of Rome. ➢ While the order in which you visit the sites may change, all indicated sites will be covered.
➢ Your professional English-speaking driver will provide commentary from the vehicle but will not accompany you inside visited sites
➢ If you would like to have an English-speaking tour guide accompany you inside the sites, this can be arranged for an additional cost upon request. The guide will then narrate from the vehicle as well as inside each site
➢ Your driver is available to extend your tour for additional hours upon request
➢ If you plan to be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered
➢ Comfortable flat-soled walking shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended
